How To Cook Dried Black Eyed Peas in Instant Pot
Ingredients:
- 1 lb dried black eyed peas
- 5 cups water (or enough to cover beans by 1-2 inches)
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional)
Instructions:
- Rinse: Rinse the peas in cold water until the water runs clear. Drain.
- Add Ingredients: Add the peas to your Instant Pot. Top with the water, optional oil and salt.
- Cook: Secure the lid. Select High Pressure and set time to 10 minutes. When done, allow pressure to release naturally for at least 10 minutes and then release the remaining pressure.
- Drain: Carefully unlock lid and drain off cooking liquid.
- Enjoy: Serve warm. Enjoy!
