How to Make a Honey Pot Winnie the Pooh
Making a honey pot is a fun and easy arts and crafts activity perfect for animal-lovers of all ages. Children will especially enjoy making this Winnie the Pooh-inspired craft, since they can make it into a souvenir or room decoration afterwards. To make a honey pot Winnie the Pooh, you will need the following materials:
- A small plastic pot (about the size of a party cup)
- Tape
- Glue
- Paper, preferably yellow and dark brown
- Scissors
- Markers
- At least one of the following for eyes: googly eyes, magnet stickers, or fabric or foam balls
Step 1: Secure the Pot
To begin, seal the edges of the plastic pot with tape to make sure any contents placed inside are secure.
Step 2: Add Designs
Cut out a variety of shapes from the paper such as circles, rectangles, triangles, or any shapes. Glue the shapes onto the surface of the pot, mixing and matching colors to create stripes, stripes or any other design of your liking.
Step 3: Add Eyes and Nose
Glue two eyes to the front of the pot. Decide on the look you are going for, by using googly eyes, magnet stickers — or fabric or foam balls. Also, glue on your Winnie the Pooh’s signature red nose just below the eyes to add a finishing touch.
Step 4: Draw the Details
Draw in the details of the face with a marker: including cheeks, an eyebrow and even a hint of Winnie’s playful smile.
Step 5: Enjoy!
Once all the pieces are in place, your honey pot Winnie the Pooh will be ready to enjoy. Use it to store candy, trinkets or just as a decoration!
