How to Slow Cook Chili in Instant Pot

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 2 tablespoons of chili powder

- 1 (14-ounce) can of diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (14-ounce) can of beef broth

- 1 (15-ounce) can of red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Instructions
- First, set your Instant Pot to the Saute setting. When the pot is hot, add in the olive oil. When the oil is hot, add in the onions and garlic and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add in the ground beef and season with salt, pepper, sugar, chili powder, and cumin. Cook the beef until it’s browned, about 5-6 minutes, breaking it up as you go.
- Add in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, green chilies, and red kidney beans. Stir to combine and season with more salt and pepper, to taste.
- Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and set it to the “Slow Cooker” setting. Set the timer for 8 hours.
- Allow the chili to slow cook for 8 hours. When finished, let the chili sit for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
